Fitzroy Provincial Park is located in the Ottawa Valley at the junction of the Carp River and the Ottawa River. It has opportunities to see century-old White Pine forest and a stand of 200-year-old Bur Oak.

GREAT site, well.... not so easy to get into after dark, but once there and set up we loved this spot.

Honestly we weren't thrilled by the walking trail, but we loved exploring the little creek beside it.

This moment was the highlight of our trip! You may have to look closely but there is a momma and baby deer swimming in the river with the third one ready to cross.

We headed down to the beach to enjoy a beautiful sunset, my boy even let me take a picture of him too!

We saw many deer and there was an amazing pizza place just down the road. We like it for it's location, providing us the ability to visit family in Ottawa!
