April 28th, 2021 - A beautiful day hiking the limestone trail at Warsaw caves. A few wrong turns made for a longer hike than expected, but that was a bonus!

The trail is mostly through evergreens, with a soft trail covered in needles. Roots and rocks were everywhere. Spring is just around the corner, and I still found the odd little patch of ice or snow deep in the woods.

The trail eventually comes up to a beautiful view of the river. This is roughly the half way point and worth the hike!

Tried to get a selfie with the pup, but he didn't corporate, so it's just me!

I love how the rocks stayed in the roots of the tree when it was uprooted by a recent storm, so wild!

Overall, if you are looking for a great hike in an afternoon, this is a beautiful place!
