Accessibility Notes: Not wheelchair accessible

I've never been here before, it was truly a lovely trail! My hubby and I got there around 3 in the afternoon, a great time, there was quite a few people out on the trail, but still spaced out enough that it was at least 20 minutes in between seeing groups of people. The main trail is a nice 4.4 KM loop according to All Trails, with an optional 'extension at the end' that's just over 1km. We ended up taking a wrong turn at the forest and missed a good portion of the trail, only ending up walking 3km. But it was beautiful!

The trail starts off pretty flat, wide open fields, there was a sign about the various grasses that grew in prairie like conditions and their significance.

A little further around, you start to see the beautiful rolling hills of the Oak Ridges Moraine. It was nice to have a clear day and really enjoy the view!

It was shortly after this section that we didn't end up following the right trail, I'm sad we missed such a big portion of the loop, I'm sure the forest would have been beautiful!

Overall a very nice walk, not too strenuous, the path was good and well marked (even in the spot we made the wrong turn!) I will be back again to experience this trail in all seasons!
