For my birthday, I really wanted to spend the day at Algonquin Hiking. As challenging as the trail is, I really wanted my husband to see Centennial Ridges Trail! We weren't up to the full trail, but I did a little research and there is a way to access the trail from Rock Lake, so off we went.

On the way there we were lucky enough to see some Moose!

The trail is well marked, and not very challenging from this entrance. It's a great way to view the best lookouts on the trail!

Yuka approves of the view! I was happy to be able to bring him along for this walk.

While most of the colour was already gone, it was still a pretty spectacular view!

My hubby never poses for pictures, but being my birthday he gave in!

Vince took this one, love the perspective.

On the way home from Algonquin, we usually stop at Silent Lake, it's about half way home and a great spot to stop for a little rest.
